The Community Levee Association understands that an abstinence pledge is just one part of a person's decision to refrain from premarital sexual relations. We continue to hold that Loudoun County public schools, if they are going to participate in sex education at all, should only recommend to students that, in the interest of their present and future mental, emotional, and physical health, they wait until they are legally married to have sexual relations, and then only with their spouse.
